Rostock business people visit organ

On 6 August 2020, the Rostock Tradesmen Association celebrated their summer party on the premises of Rostock Lutheran City Parish close to St. Mary’s. This association of leading persons of the local economy already in 2019 dedicatedthe amount of EUR 25,000 for preparation work of St. Mary’s organ.

Following corona restictions, many small groups visited the organ, led by organist Karl-Bernhardin Kropf. The tour comprised explanations using the small portative and the chest organ as well as entering the organ’s interior and children trying to play tunes on the instrument.
