Children stay overnight in St. Mary’s
For the second time, children spend the night in St. Mary’s church!
In 2017, children stayed in St. Mary’s over night for the first time. They visited the Great Organ and found their way through the instrument into vault and roof area and, finally, the huge tower.
This year, we will eventually omit the tower in favour of exploring our Positive organ. Mounted on wheels an with displaceable side sections, it is ideal for explaining general organ technology.
Moreover, we will prepare music for the organ and some instruments to accompany a reading during next day’s service, which focuses on the begin of school term. (Sunday Aug 18 2019, 9.30 AM)
